Welcome to the Adult Learning Center (ALC) where you can take Career or Community Education courses on a variety of topics; study for the GED® Test or take English Language Acquisition (ELA) day or evening courses. Fall 2019 Course Catalog is available now. Established in 2001, the IAL is a Chesapeake College Program open to all individuals. It is a membership based program and offers a Fall Semester and Spring Semester of course offerings. It features a variety of classes, a free Lunch & Learn Lecture Series, and monthly Happy Hour social events. Students who enroll in the program may take as many IAL classes as they choose for the semester.
